Spirituality and Pastoral Care is an integral part of the care we offer at St. Monica Center. Our spacious beautiful Chapel features historically important, magnificent stained glass windows and it is here one finds a quiet, comforting place to reflect, and pray. Mass is celebrated daily by our Chaplain and aired via closed-circuit television for those unable to attend. Our Pastoral Care staff makes individual visits and conducts other spiritual programs such as Rosary and Scripture readings.
Pastoral care ministry is an integral part of your care program. The Pastoral Care Department is responsible for attending to the spiritual needs of all residents, their families and staff. A member of the pastoral care team routinely visits residents. Upon request, we will arrange for you to see a member of a pastoral care team or a clergy person of another denomination. A variety of religious services are conducted in the Chapel or other designated areas such as recitation of the Rosary, Anointing of the Sick, distribution of ashes, an annual memorial Mass and other special liturgies and programs.
